14 DAY Japan Travel Itinerary
Touring Tokyo and a Journey through Japan-- these are two books I have written about my travels in Japan. Check these out!!!
When people come to Japan, they want to see ninjas. There are areas in Japan where no ninjas can be found. However, when you travel to Ise, a city in Mie prefecture. Ise is about a 3 hour drive from Ise. It is this beautiful area, where you can find a myriad of ninjas. In fact, there is a theme park named after the ninjas. The park is called Ninja Kingdom. At this kingdom, you are able to learn about the history and life of ninjas during the Azuchi-Momoyama era. You can enjoy performances by professional and skilled ninjas.
.
On top of a hill of the Ninja Kingdom is a replica of the Azuchi Castle. The original castle was founded in the Shiga prefecture in 1576 by a Japanese Samurai named Oda Nobunaga. Following the demise of Oda, the castle was destroyed by fire and what is left in the area are the remains of walls. The replica of the Azuchi Castle in Ise models the original one. You can take a bus to the top of the hill where the replica castle lies.
