14 Days Japan Travel Itinerary
Touring Tokyo and a Journey through Japan-- these are two books I have written about my travels in Japan. Check these out!!!
Japan boasts some of the best illumination shows in the country. Many of the illuminations can be found Tokyo, Japan's largest city. Of the myriad of illuminations in Tokyo during the Christmas holiday, the Yomiuriland illumination or Jewellumination is my favorite Christmas illumination. This giant amusement park is transformed into a Christmas illuminated wonderland.

Displaying over 6.5 million lights, the Yomiuriland is a Christmas light paradise. Whether it is a illuminated tunnel, an illuminated water fountain or illuminated roller coaster, this place is certainly a jewel. Lights sparkling like diamonds in all directions will certainly place you in a happy mood.
The three attractions that I favor the most at the park included the Ferris wheel, the ropeway, and the water show.
The Ferris wheel and ropeway will allow you to catch a bird's eye view of this entire stunning park. The water show, which transpires at 5 PM and commences every 15 minutes displays towering waterfalls beautifully illuminated.

Directions:
Yomiuriland is about 35 from Shinjuku.
From Shinjuku station, take the Odakyu line to Yomiuriland-mae Station. The ride is 20 stops and it takes about 40 minutes to arrive at the station. From there, I recommend taking a bus to Yomiuriland.
